Community Penetration
Operating from its base at Kitale in western Kenya, Community Penetration Christian Ministry (CPCM) is dedicated to the task of enabling the Christian community, of Kenya in particular to be effective in penetrating the wider community with the salt and light of the Gospel.
It is committed to the vision of Christians going into all walks of life, not just to make a living or pursue a career for the purpose of self-advancement, but in order to show to the world by deeds as well as words the life-transforming meaning of the Gospel in all areas of life.

Community Transformation
CPCM seeks the transformation of individual lives by God's grace through faith in Christ. But its vision goes beyond this. It is a vision of a society in which Christians, working together as a community of faith, demonstrate the transforming power of the Gospel in every area of human endeavour - in every profession, in political life, in business affairs, in educational practice, and in tackling the issues of health and poverty and distorted development that diminish the lives of so many in today's world. It has a vision of a Christian community that makes a real difference in today's world.

Community Partnership
The CPCM strategy calls for the fulfilment of its vision through an active, and mutually supportive partnership with other Chrstian bodies that share its vision. In particular, it seeks partnership with the churches, with theological colleges, Christian universities and other Christian educational and welfare organisations.

Community Education
The means by which it aims to achieve its vision is through community education programmes that target the whole Christian community, with specific programmes as appropriate targetting specific groups within that community. By this means it aims to ensure that the insights of Christian scholarly endeavour are effective in empowering the whole community of faith for service and, in turn, the insights of Christians in other areas of life are effective in informing scholarly endeavour so that it remains in touch with contemporary realities.
